Week 1 - Cutting holes and gluing stuff
Decided to switch to weekly updates instead so here goes.
Two very busy days pretty much done. We managed to get the vapour foil barrier in the front half of the floor and the ply down whilst it was raining all day yesterday. Just the back half to go now.
Today the weather was glorious so I made the most of it whilst Ellen was out to slice some big holes in the van and face my nemesis (Silicon based adhesive).
So we now have a maxxfan deluxe extractor (not wired in yet) and our sliding door window both in place. It almost looks like a camper from the outside now.
I’m dreading doing the other side windows and glad we have someone coming to do the rear glass ones where the cut out is more critical!
It’s been a long 8 hours today…
Now I should probably go eat something!
