Week 4 - Solar Panels and more insulation
Doesn’t look like too much has gone on this week really but trust me there’s been loads!
Most of the walls are now insulated with only a couple of areas left to do now. Also got the start of the electrical cupboard actually taking shape now too.
Got the roof battens in this evening and now just the far front and far rear sections left to think about and how they will connect in securely.
A big milestone this week was getting the solar panels up and installed at last. I'm sure the neighbours must have been entertained watching me manhandle the two sections up th eladder on my own. We do need another connector however as I managed to put the wrong crimp insert on the wrong connector, what an idiot - "I R Engineer". We also need to figure out how to secure one of the lines on the roof as it’s a bit awkward and a bit of a stretch. Will see what I can come up with.
Our battery should arrive next week in time to start putting the ceiling up and assembling the electrical system. Fingers crossed anyway!
